A recent study has shown that Schiff base OHMHI is an effective inhibitor of the corrosion mild steel in acidic media. The utilized weight loss measurements and electrochemical techniques, such as EIS potentiodynamic polarization, to analyze inhibition efficiency OHMHI. results show presence corrosive environment significantly reduced rate increased its resistance. impedance spectra analysis indicated was adsorbed on surface steel, providing a protective layer. polarization confirmed role by showing increase passive current density inhibitory found be 96.1%, indicating it for steel. also investigated optimal conditions use inhibitor, with concentration 0.5 mM temperature 303 K being chosen.
